Alysanne's watercolor is in the Peninsula Museum of Art's
"Perspective" exhibition of Artworks and Artifacts from the the
personal collections of the museum's Governing Board. The piece is
from the collection of museum founder and artist, Ruth Waters of 1870
Studio and Galleries, Belmont. The Museum is at 10 Twin Pines Lane,
Twin Pines Park, Belmont , CA.




"Coastal Fogs" is an oil painting inspired by the Pacific Fog Bank as
it streamed over the mountain ridges beyond Canada College, in San
Mateo County
. The painting  is in the Peninsula Museum's private
collection.

Bonnie Smith's work "Indigo String"

Bonnie Smith's work "Indigo String" from her installation titled "Thoughts of the Mind, Interpretations in Indigo" is currently in the exhibit "Volusia Wrapped in Fiber" at the Gateway. "Volusia Wrapped in Fiber" is a total of seven venues of textile art being exhibited simultaneously across Volusia County. This exhibit was organized and curated by Mary McBride was the juror for the Gallery, Peabody and Gateway divisions of the exhibit.

Portraiture Workshop at The Pacific Art League, Palo Alto




Portraiture Techniques and Practice with a Model
Following a one-hour portraiture demo using a mechanical pencil technique , students create portrait drawings, learning about shape and line, keeping a light touch, and considering values and edges. On day two, following an instructor demo using the brush in a neutral dark to find the correct shapes of the model, students will choose to continue drawing or to proceed with a painting of the same model and pose, using a limited four-color palette. Instructor gives personal attention to each student. Model fee $58 payable at registration
