                                              Who ARE those clowns?

PARTY, PARTY, PARTY

Whether celebrating Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza, or ALL of them - there was plenty of fun and surprises at our chapter party where we put aside business - except for the business of HAVING FUN!!!  We were joined by several guests including WCA National President Priscilla Otani and Ally Richter, South Bay Chapter member and National V-P for Organizational Development.  
We had an art gift exchange which was filled with surprises and fun and had the opportunity to see the Little Red Book which is now on its way to another chapter for their contributions.   

                   Now, really, isn't that a handsome looking group? 

 

Marian Yap at KALA Gallery

There's still time for a trip to Berkeley to see the Artists' Annual Exhibition at KALA Gallery where Marian Yap has a painting titled SHIMO - Frost.

This painting is part of the Haiku Threads series.  The KALA Gallery is located at 2990 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley and the exhibit is open until February 2, 2013    www.kala.org

Claire Erlin in The Coastal Arts League Juried Show

 Congratulations to Claire Erlin for Honorable Mention from the Coastal Arts League Annual Juried for her photo "Evening Glistening".

Other chapter members whose work was juried in to this show include Marie LaPrade.

A New Year and A New Blogmaster!

The holidays are over and a new year has begun.  I believe that this will be a year of discovery, activity and creativity for our chapter.  A big THANK YOU to past officers, volunteers, members and friends and WELCOME to new officers and members.  I am embarking on my new job as Blogmaster so lets get started...

Yvonne Newhouse's "Filoli Magnolias" has been selected for inclusion in the Triton Museum of Art's 2012 Statewide Watercolor Competition & Exhibition.  

The Event can be viewed from Dec 6 2012 to Feb 3 2013.

Starting 2013 you will be able to update your membership through entry thingy.

Click on the lower left corner WCA Peninsula Chapter link

 You will be prompted to the following page, click on the lower right box with the $55.00 amount.  After that, press Pay Now.

Then you will be guided to the PayPal page to make your payment, and you are all done and renew!

 

You can continue to sign up via paper application and pay with a check.
